More Zoo

Abi's favorite part of the zoo was the goat petting area. I think she would have stayed there all day chasing after the goats if I had let her.

She had absolutely no fear and I think she made some new friends.

She had fun grooming her new pals.

"Come back! I haven't smacked you enough times!"

July 4th

Mommy and Annabelle. Annabelle was pretty oblivious to the fireworks.

Daddy, Mommy, grandpa Richard, and babies. Abigail sat in grandpa's lap and pointed at fireworks without saying a word. When Abi's speechless, you know it's a good show!

Peekaboo!

Abi and Caitlin share a swim. It only took about 20 mins to convince Abi that the pool would be a fun thing!

But she loved her new (and first) swimsuit!

Annabelle's Blessing

Chris blessed Annabelle on Sunday and we had friends and family over afterwords. It was fun. (Too bad we didn't notice the smudge on the camera lens until the next day!)

Annabelle was a vision in white. We think she may actually have her daddy's blue eyes.

Abigail was on hand to help entertain. And she even got a gift from Uncle Steve and Aunt Cherie. She loved the clothes and had fun playing with the wrappings.

Speaking of Uncle Steve and Aunt Cherie...it was nice sharing the day with them.

Of course, Aunt Karen was there, enjoying her nieces. She may have even noticed that there were adults there as well!

The Greaves visit

Abigail and Annabelle had fun playing with Owen when the Greaves came to visit. Okay, Abigail bullied Owen and Annabelle was oblivious, but the adults had fun!

Annabelle is two months old (yesterday)

Time is flying! Annabelle is already two months old. And what a cutie she is. (I say this totally impartially.)

She is a very happy and friendly baby. She coos and smiles when you talk to her and even giggles in her sleep. Wish I could have the dreams she must be having!

Chris is blessing Annabelle on Sunday and we look forward to sharing this special moment with friends and family.

Annabelle is one month old (yesterday)

Time flies and Annabelle is already a month old! So here are a few pics we took yesterday. She's so alert and is really showing her thoughtful, sweet little personality. She enjoys spending time with her "big" sister.

Annabelle Ruth Bybee

Hey all,

It's Chris here (it's late) too. I know I don't do the blogging but I thought I would share a few pictures of the newest addition to the Bybee family and a couple of Annette and I and of Abi too. So here they are.

Annabell was born on 5/1 at 8:10 am, she weighed in at 8 lbs 2.6 ounces, 18 1/2 inches long. Since she was a C-section baby both she and mommy will be in the hospital for about 4 days as mommy heals. Abi is doing great and is anxious for both of them to come home so we can all be a family.

PARTY!!!

Well, Abi is officially one, and we had a wonderful party to celebrate. Many of her friends and family were in attendance and she enjoyed her cake very much. She also received some very lovely gifts for which she is extremely grateful. She's having a blast playing with her new teapot set, her xylophone/piano, her new doggies, her singing tigers, her pink pony, her fridge phonics, reading her new books, reading/listening to her Peter and the Wolf set, and of course, wearing her new clothes. (She's even promised to share her new things with her baby sister when she gets here!) Here are some pics of Abigail as the belle of the ball:

Abi Turns One

Yesterday was Abigail's first birthday. Even though her official party is this Saturday, we decided she needed to celebrate on her actual birthday as well. So we got her a cupcake. She tried really hard to grab the flame off of the candle.

But she soon proved she is her mother's child and got right down to gobbling up the frosting!

I think she set a record for cake eating ... and ended up with a cake beard to prove it. Happy Birthday, Abigail!

Abigail is 11 Months Old

She's growing so fast! Yesteday, she turned 11-months-old. I can't believe she'll be one soon.
